ASP-Based Declarative Process Mining

We put forward Answer Set Programming (ASP) as a solution approach for three classical problems in Declarative Process Mining: Log Generation, Query Checking, and Conformance Checking. These correspond to different ways of analyzing business processes under execution, starting from sequences recorded events, a.k.a. event logs. tackle them their data-aware variant, i.e., by considering events that carry payload (set attribute-value pairs), addition the performed activity, specifying declaratively with an extension linear-time temporal logic over finite traces (LTLf). The setting is significantly more challenging than control-flow one: Checking still open, while existing approaches other two do not scale well. contributions work include ASP encoding schema problems, solution, experiments showing feasibility approach.
